Potts Mullarkey is a business solutions company providing mission critical software to the leisure and financial services sectors. The company was founded over 20 years ago and has offices in London and Chester. Our capabilities embrace software development, customer support services, IT infrastructure services, business development, finance and administration.
Although now completely dedicated to the holiday & residential park industry, we made our name as the leading supplier of software in the financial regulation sector.
Virtually every financial institution you could name has been regulated using software developed by Potts Mullarkey. The major regulators had their first membership and compliance systems developed by our team. In banking there was IMRO, high street insurance brokers had FIMBRA and the insurance companies fell under LAUTRO. As regulation became ever more complex we saw the creation of the Personal Investment Authority, then more recently the merging of all the disparate bodies into the Financial Services Authority. All used Potts Mullarkey for their membership monitoring systems.
In the late 80s another industry also turned to our software development skills, it was that of holiday parks. The largest operator in the United Kingdom has been a client ever since. Recent years have seen several of the other large operators take on our systems, which we tailor and develop to suit each company’s subtle differences. With the knowledge we have gained of the industry and our deep involvement with park operators we are now able to offer the group operator a standard packaged solution known as ParcVu.
